Dr. Alice Christie

Dr.
Alice A. Christie, recently named Arizona State University President’s
Professor, received her Ph.D. in Educational Technology and Language
and Literacy from Arizona State University in 1995. She currently
serves as Associate Professor of Technology and Education in the
College of Teacher Education and Leadership at Arizona State University.
Prior to this, she taught for twenty-five years in K-12 schools.
She speaks and conducts workshops nationally and internationally
on how technology can enhance teaching and learning and how ePortfolios
can be used for authentic assessment. Her well-known educational Web Site averages
100,000 visitors per month. The Chronicle of Higher Education cited
it as one of the best educational portals on the web.
